THERE needs to already be plan for replacing K Jake Elliott. Once upon a time he was clutch, but over the last two seasons his accuracy hasn’t hit 80 percent in either year. Over that span he’s 5/15 kicking from 50-plus.
I would hate to see Elliott cut during the season, but over the last two years, he has 15 missed kicks. In a division that features a rival who can kick from 70, or possibly the next township, we can’t afford to fall behind due to sentimentality. If he starts falling apart early in the season, we have to make a move.
